Yesterday I attended an Optimum Fitness training session over at Farnham Park.
It's an outdoor military based circuit class on Thursday nights in Farnham. The class starts at 20:00 and runs for 1 hour. It costs only £5 per session, or £15 a month if you wanna attend them all. There is also a Monday evening session, 20:00 till 21:00 over at the park.
It was a slight challenge but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Lots of jogging, pushups, situps, squat thrusts and starjumps. Not really what I was use to, but I could still do a 10 mile rinse out on the bike afterwards. Big thanks to Rob who ran the session that day. Also gave me some good advice about my injured shoulder. Good times.
The other day I discovered a project idea to test some internet usage in the main market. Somehow the origin of my family name Coverdale came up in a conversation. It's from Yorkshire, and means Owner of the Cover dales. A place in Yorkshire.
Not only was it my first proper pay day in a very long time, but I also ended up spending all the money at once on a new bike. It wasn't a fail purchase, I have had this planned since before I got my new job. And I knew it was going to be my first big purchase with my new found income.
East Street Cycles were kind enough to sort me out with a Kona Caldera 2009 model. Not only did I get a good discount on the bike, but I also got a cycle computer thrown in and a discount on some new gloves and a matching tyre for my other Panaracer CINDER I purchased last week. Big thanks to the team for their hard work to get it ready for me so quickly.

I never really understood why Doctor Who was so popular. The buzz erupted over the YouTube scene recently with a new genre of Music called Trock (Time Lord Rock) an idea from Alex Day who founded a band called Chameleon Circuit who specialize in this new form of music.
But now I have a reason to tune via iplayer - Karen Gillan. 10 out of 10!
